The technical bugs occurred in Pd-l2ork-2.4.6 20171213-rev.46ffba3
(downloaded the binary from the releases page)
I'm running Ubuntu Studio 16.04.

As for the patches, I do mean shipping them or making them easily
available. But that's more of a distant concern right now.
