Guide lines? Like this?

Maybe it would be nice... but I think that it is more important the 
grid. The same as the one shown in Edit Mode, but configurable 
(frequency) and "snappable", obviously. Like this:


Also, to save space, the objects that are connected with only one wire, 
I put them toghether, like this:

So, if you want to make different snap options (grid, guide lines)... 
maybe this could be one.
