Yes, this makes it work fine. I have added the libraries I most commonly 
use to my startup search paths, so that I could write things like 
*[Scope~] *instead of *[cyclone/Scope~]*. This seemed to work well until 
some recent release, when I started facing this issue. So right now if I 
start Pd normally instead of using the instructions you gave and type 
*[Scope~]*, I get the error I describe, but if I try to create 
*[cyclone/Scope~] *then everything is fine. Any idea how can I use paths 
properly to solve this?
