[L2Ork-dev] Double Precision and soundfiler

Hi list,

There's an outstanding merge request to port some of the pd-double
work on soundfiler:

I'll have a look at this in a few days. But since this code takes some
potentially undefined behavior and turns it into defined behavior,
I'd like to get some more eyes on it.
