[L2Ork-dev] porting $0 in messages to vanilla

Howdy, I've asked this once, and I ask again cause I keep looking at the
code and can't find where Purr Data handles $0 inside messages to load the
patch ID number. I wanna try and include this into vanilla, send them as a
Pull Request. I'd appreciate if someone could help me figure it out. I am
hoping for something not too complicated that I can handle myself.
