I've been recently changing a few things regarding these old dependencies, but I don't remember messing with anything that could have done this.

What's the timeline for a stable release? I'd much prefer maintaining a branch to test these changes, and waiting for a stable release to merge than including an alpha (or even beta) version.
I'm going to do another Purr Data release in the next few days, and I'll stick with the old cyclone for that one.
