I just upgrade Purr in Debian 10 by "adding repository and manual install".
As notorious difference, I can't enter into subpatchs by Ctrl-Clicking on
it (in Edit Mode). This makes me enter in edit text mode (to change the
name of the subpatch). And now, to do the same, I have to press Alt key. Is
this intentional? I'm very used to use this everytime...

It's supposed to print out a message to the console saying that the binding
has changed to the Alt key. Did it print out such a message for you?
