      Unfortunately (for me) the estimated delivery date for the
      Raspberry Pi 400 (French version) has now shift to the 2nd half of
      December (best case).<br>
      UK/US keyboard versions are served first. And who knows what could
      happen in 2021 with BoJo deciding to freeze all deliveries to the
      old continent (Brexit - synonymous with tariffs and quotas among
      other things).<br>
      I could/should have to reconsider my choice.<br>

                      USB device into the Pi, configure it as the ALSA
                      (or Jack) audio I/O and you should be set. That
                      way you can keep using the built-in soundcard for
                      other purposes. If you disable the built-in
                      soundcard then may run into trouble because Purr
                      and other applications will fight over access to
                      the device.<br>
