Do you mean the object __[spectrogram~]__ in that patch of mine?
That's the only abstraction being used there. But It's possible to
_hear_ the problem with some of the filters (particularly with a
narrow band pass: if you make a glissando upwards, you can hear that
it stops to "move" at around 12 kHz).
Hi Ico,

I just compiled pd vanilla 0.45.4 and I can confirm the bug
is also present there. I contacted the user who reported it
to be an extended only bug to know if he is sure about that
and I also asked him to test my patch in his computer. If it
turns out he was wrong about vanilla's filters being bug
free (which is the very likely scenario), I will contact
Miller about it and also report the bug at sourceforge. I
will let you know about it as well.
Take care,
Forgot to mention, svf~ acts the same way in your patch.
Are you sure everything works as expected in the
abstractions you're using?

Also, have you checked with Miller and if so, what was his
response?
Thanks, Gilberto. Even with the d_filter.c being
essentially synonymous with pd vanilla (latest version),
the problem apparently persists. I am not sure why.
Essentially, the behavior is the same in both the latest
version of pd vanilla and the one we currently have in
pd-l2ork. Did you see it behave differently in vanilla?
If so, what version were you using and can you please
create a video of that version running the same patch?
Hi Ico,

Thanks for the quick fixes, I will be happy to have a
look on it. The only thing is I never compiled
pd-l2Ork from source (I only used debian packages made
by others for it), and on my first try I got some
error messages. I am travelling the whole day tomorrow
so I am a bit busy now to try figuring out what I am
doing wrong, but I can certainly do this once I get
home. However, I prepared a simple patch that can be
used to test the filters, together with a video of the
current behaviour with my build:
Hello all,

Today an user discovered a bug with the high and
bang pass filters in Pd 0.43.4-extended and the
same bug is present in Pd-l2Ork. The same user
informs that Pd vanilla 0.45.4 does not display
these bugs.
