You are completely right - it is not crashing at all. Sorry for
using wrong terms, my English isn't that good.
I do not really know if it is a problem with jack or with pd. Jack
shows no xruns at all, there is only this ongoing a/d/a sync error
row in the console. I tried to run a few patches simultaneously
and it played back everything. But these errors occur all the
time. I ran Pd with buffer size at 50 and 4096 frames (I use a
Focusrite Pro 24). But as I said it doesn't seem to have any
effect which driver I choose in Pd. It starts counting the errors
when I open it up and it won't stop until I close the application.

Hello to the mailing list!
I tried to start pd with or withour -rt and it didn't
change it's behaviour. I'm running DreamStudio 64bit with
Lowlatency Kernel 3.2.0.
I noticed that the following Error occurs, no matter which
audio driver I try to select ( A/D/A sync in an
endless row see the report at the end of this mail):
Strange is, that there is "normal" sounding audio output
when using jack but the whole app isn't stable as it was
expected to be.
Can someone help me out?

Thank you very much indeed!

Hi,

I would suggest using l2ork-dev mailing list for questions like this.

See:

http://l2ork.music.vt.edu/main/?page_id=57

http://l2ork.music.vt.edu/main/?page_id=33

As for your question, it is difficult to say where the problem lies. Did you

start JACK with RT flag enabled? Is your computer running a lowlatency

kernel? Do you have audio group with RT privileges? Did you start pd-l2ork

using a shortcut from the menu rather than just typing pd-l2ork on the

command line? I am sure I am missing questions that I haven't asked, but

this should be a good start.

Best wishes,

Hello Ivica Ico,

I'm trying to install L2ork on Ubuntu 12.04 with DreamStudio Distro and

I'm getting permanently A/D/A Syncronisation errors when starting DSP. I

couldn't find any mailing list or support pages, so I decided to email

you directly. I hope you don't mind?

Maybe you can help me with this Problem?

I read about L2ork because I already had problems with Standard

PD-extended (Freeze after DSP on/off). You recommended on the pd-

Forum

to try it with the version submitted on dr. Graefs ppa and so I did...

Thank you very much indeed!
