I'm not building from source but I will check this out when the next
release is available at OBS. Glad to hear about the less distracting
option when snap-to-grid is turned off. When that option is on, I still
think that the best option for users in general would be a slider for
variable opacity in the options instead of selecting a single value for
everyone (live-coders would then likely set it to complete transparency,
other people might prefer a middle value, people with visual impairments
might prefer it fully opaque, etc.). I of course realise that this would
require someone to 1) agree with this point, 2) thinks implementing is
actually worth it and 3) spend their time implementing it. At the end
this is just my 2 cents and I'm happy to leave it here.

Ok, I wasn't sure if that change of shortcuts was intended or not. It's
a pity that these technical challenges required it, particularly since
this was a shortcut so ingrained in the way I use Pd.
