I don't think that anyone does. :) In the sense that you can keep all the
crazy interdependencies in your head at once, that is. Whenever I'm working
on it, I need to dive into that hall of mirrors all over again.

Yes sure. I'll need to figure out what the exact dependencies are. The
Ubuntu packaging guide lists gnupg pbuilder ubuntu-dev-tools apt-file, but
I think that pbuilder and ubuntu-dev-tools are probably the essential ones.

I don't care what extra tools are needed-- if users want
