This is what happened to Vanilla already. If you have the latest Vanilla
(0.50-2 these days), you'll see that this bug got fixed in 0.48 and there's
a compatibility flag for 0.47 to keep this old behaviour. I actually
reported that bug to vanilla and maybe even fixed it myself btw... and
Miller decided to make this compatibility flag.
