Hi List,
Purr Data 2.3.2 is out.
Download binaries here:https://github.com/jonwwilkes/purr-data/releases
Report bugs here:https://git.purrdata.net/jwilkes/purr-data
* [pd~] now works on all platforms* the "-unique" flag works on all platforms* data structure demo game fixed* GUI bug fixed
The [stdout] object does not work yet, but once it does
we can use [pd~] to add a test that will pin the current
internal/external interfaces for future regression tests.
That will make it way easier to develop without worrying
about breaking random things in the complicated build
infrastructure.
Also, the Gitlab CI script is now using valgrind to run the
tests on all the Linux runners. This has helped squash a
bunch of memory bugs, both in the core and in external libs.
Finally, there is a fairly detailed guide for setting up a CI
runner using a Windows 7 VM. Check it out here:
https://git.purrdata.net/jwilkes/ci-runner-setup
There are currently 45 steps. If someone wants to take a shot
at simplifying it that would be very helpful. (For example, a lot
of the instructions can be turned into lines of bash, or even
put into a bash script and pushed to that repo.)
