I made one on the Pd forum, I'll post some here and on Pd mailing list later.
I may have a few bugfixes here and there, but I'm definitely ready to focus on
getting pd-cyclone included for the next release.

> well, ready to merge then?
Did you merge this yet?

Yeah.  I'm tracking down a series of nasty GUI bugs that made it difficult to
manipulate GOP patches.  Because of that I haven't had time to test pd-cyclone
building on Windows.  I'll have to do it for the next release.

Sounds good.

I still need to get a release done with the current cyclone incarnation. But once that's done
we can merge your version for the next release.

since I'm so excited about all this, I'm just writing to ask when we might see a new version of purr data out with the new cyclone, and if you're figuring out a way to keep it all in the same makefile :)

I was drafting out an "if" condition from line 357
https://github.com/porres/pd- cyclone/blob/master/Makefile
I know you can do things like that in the makefile, but not sure how... it uses if conditions for when compiling for windows, such as including the pthreadGC-3.dll file for the windows distribution (which is needed for [coll]), this is done in line 380
So, my idea is having some sort of purr data flag (as with scope~), then do the 'if' thing.

We need to install the files from "documentation/purr_help/*.pd" and "documentation/purr_help/abs_ GUI/*.pd" instead of "documentation/help_files/*.pd " and "cyclone_src/abstractions/*.pd " (respectively)
All the rest should be included for both.
any hints?
cheers

> All left to do to so we can include it in Purr Data is having an "if" in the makefile where it loads the purr data documentation instead, like I said before, and I needed help on it.

Hi Alexandre,Can you point me to the relevant part of the makefile?

1- test building the new scope~ code

All I had to do to make it build was change in the code where it specified including 'magic.h' to our new 'magicbit.h', and it all seems fine!
