The available packages will all install under /usr, so it isn't possible
right now without some extra work. But in principle it should be possible
to install one of them under a different install prefix if you build the
package from source (using something like 'inst_dir=/opt/purr-data ./
tar_em_up.sh -B'). The rest would then be just setting up an appropriate
link to the executable and adjusting the desktop files.

I'll see whether I can massage the purr-data debuild/PKGBUILD stuff
accordingly, but don't hold your breath yet. :) It would be helpful,
though, if you could report this as a packaging bug on the Bitbucket page
I've set up for the Ubuntu packages:
